Donnie Lontrell Jr. (born November 8 1999) is better known under the pseudonym Pooh-Shiesty is an American rapper hailing from Memphis, Tennessee.

He is signed by Gucci Mane’s 1017 Records and Atlantic Records. He gained notoriety in the year 2020 due to his collaborations with rapper Lil Durk and other artists from the label.

The artist is most likely best known for his hit single in 2020, “Back in Blood” with the rapper Lil Durk, Pooh Shiesty released his debut mixtape commercial, Shiesty Season, on February 5, 2021, that peaked at the number 3 spot at the top of the US Billboard 200.

Pooh Shiesty gained fame in 2020 after he released his singles ” Black in Blood “, in which he featured Lil Durk.

The next year, 2021, he released his debut commercial mixtape titled “Shiesty Season”, and this release ranked no.3 on the US Billboard 200. Pooh is signed to Gucci mane’s 1017 Records and Atlantic Records.

Pooh Shiesty was born on November 9, 1999, in Memphis, Tennessee, USA. He spent most of his childhood with his mother, Gladys Baines, in Texas.

He later returned to Memphis, where he completed his High School education at the age of 18. After his education, he decided to follow up his music career.

Pooh Shiesty got his stage from his late brother. It actually comes from his childhood nickname “Mr. Pooh”, and the title “Shiesty” refers to his lifestyle.

Shiesty’s consistent release gained him recognition, and he soon received attention from American rapper Gucci Mane, who later signed him to his record label, 1017, alongside Atlantic around April 2020. There was a collaboration on Mane’s single, “Still Remember”, which was released on June 19, 2020.

The single marked Shiesty’s rise to fame as he gained more public recognition. Barely a week later, he released the single titled “Monday to Sunday”, in which he featured American rappers Lil Baby and Big30.

Shiesty released the single “Twerksum” alongside the music video in September 2020. Shiesty was quite consistent with his release as he released yet another single in November of the same year, “Black in Blood”, in which he featured rapper, Lil Durk.

“Black Blood” became his most streamed song. The music video was soon released in the first half of 2021.it received over forty million views on YouTube as of February. He kept on releasing in 2021 songs like ” Guard Up” and the deluxe edition of Shiesty Season, titled Shiesty Season – Spring Deluxe.
